Qualifications

5+ years selling into marine/industrial cleaning, chemicals, or closely related hardgoods. Existing relationships with marine distributors/retailers, yards, marinas, and OEMs. Proven hunter/closer with territory development across multiple states; comfortable with 50–70% travel. Familiarity with SDS, DOT/IMDG, hazmat shipping basics, and export paperwork. CRM discipline; clean forecasting and pricing hygiene.

Description

Company: RBG (MA5x EcoMarine) Location: Coral Springs, FL (hybrid). Remote considered for exceptional candidates with travel. Territory: U.S. + Export (Caribbean, LatAm, EU prioritized) Reports to: CEO About RBG RBG manufactures the MA5x EcoMarine line of boat cleaning supplies (Barnacle Off, Bilge, Hull, Salt-Off, more). We’re a startup manufacturer with low current sales and big ambitions to scale across the U.S. and export markets. You’ll be our first senior commercial hire and a key builder. What You’ll Do Open new revenue: Prospect, pitch, and close distributors, chandlers, boatyards/marinas, OEMs, and e-commerce resellers. Build programs: Create price lists, distributor tiers, promotions/MAP, and sell-through playbooks. Own key accounts: Forecasts, QBRs, expansions, and reorders. Develop exports: Sign 3–5 distributors; align on Incoterms, MOQs, labeling/SDS/IMDG/DOT compliance. Shape the portfolio: Turn field feedback into product briefs; lead trials and launches. Run sales ops: Stand up CRM (HubSpot/Zoho), pipeline 3–4× coverage, clean forecasting. Represent the brand: FLIBS, Miami, IBEX, regional events; clinics at yards/marinas. What Great Looks Like (Year 1 Targets) 60–100 new purchasing doors opened (mix of distributor/retail/yard/e-comm). $750k–$1.5M in booked revenue at healthy margins. 3–5 export distributors launched with initial POs. Reorder rate = 60% by month 6 on initial accounts. 2–3 validated product briefs, 1–2 launched
