Job Description:
High Seas Hydraulics is seeking a Marine Hydraulics Field Service Technician to support a growing South Florida marine hydraulics company based in Fort Lauderdale. This position involves troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing hydraulic systems on yachts and mega-yachts over 60 feet.

Responsibilities include working with:

• Hydraulic steering systems
• Stabilizers
• Bow thrusters
• Passerelles
• Hydraulic cranes and davits
• Hydraulic swim platforms
• Windlasses
• Hydraulic cylinder testing and service
• Hydraulic hose fabrication

Qualifications

Qualified candidates should be motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot issues and determine the next steps in the repair process. Candidates should have experience working with marine hydraulic systems on yachts and mega-yachts over 60 feet.

Additional preferred skills include:

• Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment with minimal supervision
• Electrical background with 12–24VDC and 120–480VAC systems
• PLC experience is a plus
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
• Experience with systems or brands such as NAIAD Stabilizers, ABT Trac, Wesmar, Quantum, Besenzoni, BCS, Nautical Structures, Opacmare, Muir Windlasses, Maxwell Windlasses, Marquipt, Steelhead, CMC Marine, SeaStar, Kobelt, and Jastram is a plus
