AME Solutions is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to provide technical services and solutions to maritime and industrial customers. This role works independently under general supervision to troubleshoot rotating machinery and provide technical solutions based on customer service requirements. The position may include laser alignment, Cardan shaft alignment, vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, and optical alignment.

Responsibilities include performing repair, operational, environmental, condition monitoring, and diagnostic tests; recording vibration data; performing machinery diagnostics; completing corrective repairs; preparing technical reports; communicating repair issues and resolutions with management; and interacting professionally with customers onsite.

The position requires travel approximately 25% to 50% per year.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of experience performing repairs on marine equipment and/or industrial machinery.

Applicants should have strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, communication skills, and organization skills.

The role requires experience and knowledge of vibration analysis, dynamic balancing, laser alignment, optical alignment, rotating machinery troubleshooting, Windows, and Microsoft Office applications.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States, have a valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record, be available for occasional domestic and international travel, and be able to pass a drug test upon request.
