The Yacht Service Technician Apprenticeship Program is a critically important program for our industry to continue to build and facilitate a talent pipeline to maintain our workforce for years and generations to come.
Currently in its third year, with one class having completed the program and earning their nationally-recognized credentials, the program is seeking a new instructor to take the helm of the program. This position as an instructor is ideal for someone with strong industry knowledge and/or experience that is passionate about developing apprentices and the next generation. As the instructor of the program, responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching class twice a week, at night, at Atlantic Technical College, creating lesson plans and helping to organize guest speakers about particular topics, and tracking grades and attendance of apprentices, while coordinating with program lead, Lori Wheeler.
