Past Event: OneBlood Blood Drive and CDTC Food Drive

MIASF was pleased to co-host a ONEBlood Blood Drive with Sandy Hoekstra-Handrahan of Yacht-Mate Products and sponsor a Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center “Bare Necessities Food Pantry” non-perishable food drive to help local hospitals treat the influx of COVID-19 patients and assist the food needs of families with special needs children being served by the CDTC. More than 30 individuals registered to donate blood or plasma/platelettes, and several hundred pounds of food items were collected. Many thanks to all those in our marine industry family who drove-in, donated, and dropped-off!
