News - MIASF Board of Directors Election Process

The MIASF Board of Directors election process, which is prescribed in the association’s by-laws, began this month with the naming of the Nominating Committee, chaired this year by David Reed. The Nominating Committee presented a slate of 10 nominees to the Board of Directors, which was approved at the February meeting. The official slate, with instructions for self-nominations, will be sent to members following the March Board of Directors meeting. This year, MIASF’s Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 16th at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, where MIASF will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a Diamond Jubilee, and the winners of the Board of Directors election will be announced.
