MIASF Director of Development and Salty Jobs Co-host Sean Smith spoke at the International Marina and Boatyard Conference’s “Recruiting and Retaining Workers Through Apprenticeship, Employee Investment and Marketing Technology” session on January 15th. This session was moderated by Julie Balzano of the National Marine Manufacturer’s Association and included Joe Maniscalco from Yamaha Marine who spoke about their apprenticeship program, and Holly Ashton from Safe Harbor Marinas who spoke about addressing their workforce development challenges. Sean presented on the Salty Jobs video series and the use of video to relate to and recruit the younger generations.
