MIASF Participates in the 50th Anniversary Winterfest Boat Parade

After a year without it, South Florida was more than ready and excited to welcome back the Winterfest Boat Parade and celebrate its 50th anniversary! MIASF was a founding sponsor of this parade when it began years ago and is still proud of this unique and exciting community event that shows off the best of what South Florida has to offer- our waterways and boats! This year, MIASF got in the spirit of celebrating even more and had a boat in the parade. The Summer Wind, owned by Charter One Yachts, hosted the MIASF team and its members for a ride in the parade. To fit in with the Rock ‘n’ Roll theme for this year, the MIASF Boat was named ‘Don’t Stop Boating’ for a special nod to Journey’s popular song Don’t Stop Believing, complete with icicle lights throughout, a disco Santa, and our personal favorite, Santa riding a jet ski with Rudolph hanging on. Holiday cheer flowed throughout the boat as we rode in the parade singing carols, spreading holiday cheer, and spending time with some of the people who matter most.
