After months of exploratory work and research, History Fort Lauderdale (previously known as The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society), in partnership with MIASF and industry sponsors, will open Fort Lauderdale’s first Marine Museum exhibit later this month. The exhibit will be housed within the History Museum New River Inn, located in the City’s Historic District, with artifacts from early Native Americans to modern naval architecture on display.
