Member News: MarineMax Acquires Texas MasterCraft

MarineMax announced in a statement that it acquired Texas MasterCraft, a full-service towboat dealer with two locations in the Dallas area. Terms of the deal were not announced.
Texas MasterCraft generated revenue of more than $45 million in 2020 and is recognized as the world’s largest MasterCraft dealer.

“We have great appreciation and respect for Jimmy Harvell and his team and admire how effectively they operate their business. Our cultures and passion for customer service, as well as the boating lifestyle, are perfectly aligned,” W. Brett McGill, CEO and president of MarineMax, said in a statement.

Harvell, the dealership president, and his team will continue to operate the business with support and resources from MarineMax.
