The Azimut|Benetti Group has announced that Nicola Pomi has been appointed general manager of Azimut Yachts.
Since 2006, Pomi was with Volvo Penta, starting as business controller and ascending to vice president of global business, where he developed the company’s worldwide market segments.
Azimut said that with the addition of Pomi, the builder will be able to provide an improved response to “the growing dynamism of a market in which innovation, new product development and the production process are the key drivers of competitiveness.”
