National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) named Frank Hugelmeyer to succeed Thom Dammrich as president of the association. Hugelmeyer served as president of the RV Industry Association since 2015 and was president of the Outdoor Industry Association for 14 years prior. After a transition period in July, he will take over the president’s position on October 1st.

Congratulations to Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center for raising $259,000 at the 5th Annual Waterway Soirée Yacht Hop and Dinner held on May 11th at the Bahia Mar Marina. Guests invited aboard stunning yachts enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres and a private meal catered by some of Fort Lauderdale’s finest chefs. Funds raised will help provide primary medical and dental care to nearly 12,000 children with special health care needs.

Tom Schuessler has been named president of Mercury’s Power Products division. Brunswick Corp. acquired Power Products in August 2018 as the largest parts and accessories acquisition in its history. Schuessler has worked for Brunswick Corporation since 1984, most recently as president of Mercury Marine’s Land ‘N’ Sea business. Land ‘N’ Sea has grown into the largest marine parts and accessories wholesale distributor in the United States. Schuessler also held leadership positions in Mercury’s Parts & Accessories business, including director of distribution at Mercury Marine as well as director of parts & accessories logistics at Mercury.

Mike Conners, vice president of national sales at Land ‘N’ Sea, has been named president of that company. He has held leadership roles at Land ‘N’ Sea since 1989.
