Marine Industry Elevatory Pitch Competition

MIASF visited South Broward High School last month to present this year’s “Marine Industry Elevator Pitch Competition,” where junior and senior students are given one minute to sell themselves for a career in the marine industry. The top 20 students will give their presentations at the Refit Show on April 11th, and the top student will receive a scholarship toward post high school education. Bluewater Crew Training and Toastmasters came along to assist with the presentation. MIASF will be returning to SBHS on March 12th to judge the first round of presentations and is looking for industry professionals to assist as judges on both March 12th and April 11th.
