Emerging Marine Leaders, Generations Collide

At the end of the month, IBEX took place at the Tampa Convention Center. CEO/President of MIASF, Phil Purcell, was invited to participate in the Emerging Marine Leaders, Generations Collide panel event. This new event was design to give younger marine industry professionals an opportunity to meet and make meaningful contacts with established leaders in the industry. The event featured discussion rounds, a Q&A session, and open floor networking. Phil shared with the audience his path into the industry, some of his favorite parts of his jobs, important lessons he’s learned along the way, and advice for those considering a career in the marine industry. Adam Quandt from Boating Industry Magazine and Kirsten Corssen from Social Navigator moderated the panel that also included Bill Yeargin from Correct Craft, Kristen Frohnhoefer from Sea Tow and Brandon Flack from Atlantic Marketing.
