Coast Guard Seventh District Change of Command

MIASF had the privilege of attending the Coast Guard Seventh District Change of Command ceremony. The ceremony took place on Thursday, July 15th at Air Station Miami in Opa-locka, Florida. Rear Adm. Brenden McPherson assumed the duties of the Seventh District Commander and Director of Department of Homeland Security Joint Task Force – Southeast from Read Adm. Eric C. Jones.

Jones will take on a new role as he leaves to serve in Washington, D.C. as the Assistant Commandant for Human Resources. MIASF thanks Jones for his services and looks forward to continuing to build our relationship with the Seventh District and Rear Adm. McPherson.
