Job Description for Marine Diesel Field Service Technician

We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Marine Diesel Technicians to join our team. As a Marine Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of marine engines and related systems. Your primary focus will be on MTU, CAT, MAN, and Volvo Penta marine diesel engines. You will work closely with a team of technicians and engineers to ensure the smooth operation of these engines and ensure that they meet performance standards.

Qualifications for Marine Diesel Field Service Technician

- High school diploma or equivalent - Vocational training in diesel mechanics or marine diesel factory training is preferred - Knowledge of marine engine systems and effective troubleshooting techniques - Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools and software - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and data - Skilled in performing engine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls - Good communication skills, both verbal and written - Flexibility to travel and work flexible hours as required - Possession of a valid driver's license and passport - Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks - Fluent in English - Successfully pass background screening
