Job Description for Office Manager / Inside Sales
Soundown Corp is seeking an office manager/ inside salesperson for our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. This office is a warehouse and sales location that is supported by our main office in Salem, Massachusetts. Soundown Corp manufacturers noise control products and the Fort Lauderdale office mainly services the marine industry. The person hired for this position will need to have a general knowledge of boats and an ability to learn the basics of our technical product line. On the job training and support will be provided. This position will require someone who can work independently, has a range of skills, and is able to wear a number of hats. Marine industry experience, especially local experience, preferred. Responsibilities include: General office -Answer phones -Respond to or forward customer inquiries as needed Sales: -Write quotes -Take orders -Help customers with product selection (training and main office support available) Warehouse -Oversee inventory -Occasionally drive the fork truck -Arrange shipping and shipping documents -Purchasing of job specific product This is an in person position 40 hours per week M-F 8am - 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
Qualifications for Office Manager / Inside Sales
MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel Experienced woith office accounting and/or ERP systems
