Welcome to the 32nd Annual Waterway Cleanup Internet Resource for information directly related to the cleanup of Broward County's canals and waterways. The Annual Waterway Cleanup is this county's largest environmental event and in 2008 more than 2,000 volunteers came in boats and on land to clean nearly 35 tons/235 cubic yards of trash and debris from from Broward’s waterways, rivers and canals. Waterway Cleanup 2009 is scheduled for The Marine Industries Association of South Florida thanks the many local businesses, civic partners and organizations serving as sponsors for their support during the 31st Annual Waterway Cleanup! |
