Waterway View Update March 28, 2018

The Google Waterway View mapping project, sponsored in part by Boat Owner’s Warehouse and MarineMax, is underway with a significant portion of Broward County completed. Last week, the signature mapping boat captured imagery in Palm Beach County and was visible from the Palm Beach International Boat Show, attracting considerable attention. This first-of-its-kind project has garnered international media coverage and more than 250,000 views of the imagery online. Additionally, MIASF has been invited to join our certified Google Street View content provider at this year’s Google Street View Summit being held in May at Google’s Headquarters in California, prompting an accelerated release date for the mobile app that will be available to the public in time for the Summit. Click here to sign up for an upgraded listing or schedule a virtual tour video. When you see the specially-wrapped 35’ Boston Whaler, sponsored by MarineMax, mapping the local waterways, help spread the word by taking a photo and sharing on social media with #waterwayview.
