FYBA Charter Seminar – Oct. 7. From 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bahia Mar. 56th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show – Nov. 5-9. Show exhibits range from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts. A wide variety of boats will be on display including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes, and extraordinary superyachts.

Marine Industry Job Fair – Thursday, Nov. 5 at the Broward County Convention Center. The job fair will feature marine industry companies from both the private and commercial sectors, offering commercial and recreational positions including skilled trades, sales, administrative and crew as well as educational opportunities. Job-seekers will also receive helpful job search, interviewing and career tips. Attendees can save time by preregistering by October 30 at Attendance is free.

Blue Party – Friday, Nov. 6 at the Broward County Convention Center. Each exhibitor in the convention center will get tickets to distribute to their friends or clients, and sponsors will get tickets to distribute as well.

Coast Guard Foundation Tribute – Nov. 19. Tickets and sponsorships are available for the Coast Guard Foundation’s Tribute to the Seventh Coast Guard District at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale. Individual tickets are $350, and tables are $3,500. For more information, email

With exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo Florida will showcase these emerging efficient propulsion technologies and components to an audience of propulsion system designers, vessel owners and operators, boat builders, engine manufacturers, naval architects and military fleet operators/chiefs.
