The Marine Industries Association of South Florida Announces 2014-2015 Board of Directors June 20, 2014
Fort Lauderdale, FL, June 18, 2014- The Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) officially announced the results the election of their 2014-2015 Board of Directors. Kristina Hebert, of Ward’s Marine Electric will continue to serve as MIASF President, announced the results at the MIASF Anchor Member Meeting this morning.
There were five available seats on the MIASF Board, with three of these positions going to the incumbent members. Two board members, Mark Houck, Chartwell Law and Carlos Vidueira, Rybovich had C2010-597 previously announced their retirement from the MIASF Board.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the direction of the Association, the delegation of funds required for Association management, as well as serving various duties for each of the major events held by MIASF each year.
The MIASF is a not-for-profit trade organization created in 1961 to promote and protect the sound growth of the marine industry in South Florida through promotion, professionalism, and regulation for the benefit and education of its members and the community. The Association has members in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties representing over 107,000 jobs and an economic impact of 8.9 billion dollars annually.
