Legislative Advocacy
MIASF carefully monitors, comments, supports or challenges government regulations or legislation that it has determined may have an impact on South Florida's recreational marine industry on the local, state and national levels. The Government Relations Committee, Board of Directors and the Association's government relations representatives in Florida's capital Tallahassee and in Washington D.C. are focused on a wide variety of issues to ensure that marine businesses are protected, or can benefit from governmental policies or actions.

MIASF is the Proud Owner of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
MIASF is the owner of the largest boat show in the world. The show focuses a spotlight on our South Florida marine industry, and brings thousands of qualified buyers to the area each year - MIASF's ability to lead an aggressive and innovative agenda on behalf of the membership and industry is in part as a result of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Member Referrals
It is the Association's policy to provide a Membership Directory or a list of names of MIASF members when specific requests are received for products or services. MIASF is a membership driven association, so we listen to our members' needs, encourage business-to-business interaction and help the public find the products and services of Association members.
