Red Tide Update October 26, 2018

The results of the water quality monitoring, provided by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) from Wednesday, October 17, show that none of the samples collected in Broward County contained K. Brevis, indicating no current red tide activity in the coastal waters of Broward County.

County-wide water quality sampling will continue to be performed weekly for changes in local conditions. Those results will be posted as soon as they become available. There is an advisory notice and section with real-time beach condition updates and informational resources at www.sunny.org/beachconditions.
