On February 1st, MIASF held the 41st Waterway Cleanup Kick-Off and Artwork Reveal at its headquarters in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Sponsored by the National Save the Sea Turtles Foundation, the kick-off featured local artist, Steve Diossy, who donated his time and talents to create the artwork used for the posters and flyers, and even stayed late to autograph them for the many volunteers and sponsors in attendance.
