MIASF Executive Director Speaks at Young Professionals in Yachting Meeting June 26, 2014

YPY_Logo_FTlaudOn June 12th Phil Purcell was the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Young Professionals in Yachting (YPY). The organization was formed to educate, promote ethical business C2040-408 practice, and ultimately facilitate success for young professionals within South Florida’s yachting business community. Phil praised the group for their ambition and foresight in working together. “The next generation is the future of the marine industry and our country. It is important that we all look for new and innovative ways to improve our businesses.”

YPY President John Jarvie said “Phil touched on many topics, stressing the importance C2040-988 of our group and our generation. He spoke about how he overcame obstacles when he was new to the industry, the importance of adapting to changes in technology, and also discussed his goals and objectives with MIASF.

His passion for the betterment of our industry is contagious, and our members left the meeting asking how they can do more to help.”

The MIASF is committed to working closely with organizations like YPY which share the mutual goals to the betterment of the marine industry.
