Free HAZWOPER Training from NSU December 20, 2018

ATTENTION – FREE HAZWOPER TRAINING! Through a grant awarded by the Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Nova Southeastern University’s Institute for Disaster and Emergency Preparedness is offering a free 7.5-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. The class is ideal for all workers, especially those who could be “first-responders” to a hazardous materials incident, and training can be scheduled onsite at the workplace. Attendees will learn how to recognize, react, and protect themselves from chemical hazards. For more information, or to schedule a class, contact Philyppe Carré at pc716@nova.edu or (954) 262-1644.
