FLIBS Exhibitor Party: Fun and Charitable November 5, 2014
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Exhibitor Appreciation Party, hosted by the MIASF and Show Management, kicked off on Sunday night during the Show. It was held on The AquaLounge (Floridian Princess), and provided Boat Show hosts an opportunity to express their gratitude to the over 1,000 exhibitors who contribute to the show’s success. Bank United and The Las Olas Company contributed as the sponsors and had a strong presence with representatives from both companies joining in the festivities.
This year’s party had a great turnout, as more than 450 Exhibitors and guests came to share in a night full of fun, social interaction, and maybe just a little bit of relief as another successful Boat Show neared its end. Exhibitors from all aspects of the Show were in attendance, with Convention Center exhibitors coming the extra mile to join in the festivities. Guests were treated to great live music courtesy of Olivera Theissen. She performed her unique soulful style of singing on the open fourth deck, which gave guests an opportunity to partake in a marvelous bird’s eye view of the Boat Show while enjoying the music.
With charitable proceeds from the night benefitting Marine Magnet Schools and Marine Industry Cares Foundation summer camps, the party raised over $1,500 in donations! The party was a great success, as show hosts and exhibitors alike were able to take a night off from work to enjoy the fun and magic that is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
